can't wait to see more awesome stuff from you! i admire your skill and patience :).

btw, how do you think ceramic clay would work with making charms, etc?

Thank you! :D

Honestly, I've never worked with ceramic clay so I wouldn't know. Thing is, polymer clay, when baked, is relatively sturdy, which is why they work as charms (which are often thrown about on people's phones.) My initial impression of ceramic clay is that it's generally supposed to remain still - as in, bowls and plates and stuff like that - but once again, since I've never used it I couldn't exactly say. :O Sorry I couldn't help much more! If you have any questions about polymer clay though, I'd be more than happy to answer any that I can XD

oo okay. thanks! then let's say instead of using eyelet screws as a fixture to the charm string, i just punched a hole and put a ring through it... the clay wouldn't break easily would it?

Hmmm, I think the safer bet is to put the most force on something metal rather than the clay itself - at least if the metal portions broke, you could replace them. If the hole part of the clay piece broke, it'd be ruined for good.

oo okay thankss :)

(this is gneeworks, just under my main account XD)

Polymer clay, when baked, is very sturdy - I'm not sure if ceramics would be the same, since ceramic tends to be more brittle. If you're looking to make items that are going to be knocked around, I'd suggested polymer clay. Otherwise, things like figurines and whatnot would be fine as ceramics, IMO.

Hope that helps!
